KADUNA, North-West, Nigeria – The newly appointed Executive Secretary of Kaduna State Health Supplies Management Agency, (KADHSMA), Pharm. Aisha Tukur Isyaku, has said providing quality assurance systems for all health supplies, procured and distributed in the state will be the focus of the Agency.
Pharm. Isyaku made the assertion when she formerly assumed office as the Executive Secretary of the Agency in Kaduna.
She assured staff that all health supplies in the state will be in accordance with the regulatory compliance for safety, efficiency and rational used by end users.
She further said generating, collecting, validating, managing and distributing and providing data on health supplies, logistics and supply chain for use in the state will be another priority during her tenure.
She promised to vigorously pursue training and capacity development on health supply chain management to public health institutions in the state
The Executive Secretary seeks support of all personnel to ensure that the Agency regulate and co-ordinate all health supply chain operations in the State; in line with it’s mandate.
“We will ensure that our zonal office in each of the three Senatorial Zones are up and doing to the benefits of the citizens,” She said.
The Kaduna State Health Supplies Management Agency, (KADHSMA) was established in 2018 to manufacture, select, quantify, source, store and distribute health supplies to end users through the health institutions in the State, or such health institutions as may be approved by the Commissioner for Health.
