The Grand Matron of Osun Babes Football Club, Alhaja Kafayat Olaitan Oyetola, has commended efforts of the team for it away win against Ibom Angels on Wednesday in Uyo.
Speaking to Journalists after the match monitored alongside the Special Adviser to the Governor on sports, Hon Aremo Adelabu, she said it is a good start to their dream of a Continental ticket.
“It is a good start picking an away win, we are happy and we will do everything to support them as theg goe on.”
Also speaking, the SA to Governor on Sports, Hon Adelabu, said he is overjoyed with the victory and promised support from the government to the team.
Osun Babes defeated Ibom Angels of Uyo 1- 0 with the goal scored by Yemisi Samuel.
The team will play Robo FC of Lagos in Lagos in it next match.
