ABUJA – The National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA), has released the sum of over N10 billion to 411,292 Beneficiaries under the National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO).
The disbursement was made across the 36 States and FCT under the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer (RH-CCT) of President Bola Tinubu.
This was disclosed by NSIPA’s National Coordinator/CEO, Associate Professor Badamasi Lawal in a release dated October 18, 2024.
He said the funds is the second tranche of payments made directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts nationwide.
According to him, the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer, RH-CCT, under the National Cash Transfer Office is aimed to cushion the economic hardships of the beneficiaries who are mostly the poor and vulnerable.
“It is part of Mr. President’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at alleviating Poverty and improving the livelihoods of poor and vulnerable Nigerians.
“The programme demonstrates the government’s commitment to supporting the poor, vulnerable populations and promoting economic growth,” the National Coordinator/CEO said in the statement.
