KADUNA, North-West Nigeria – A former senatorial aspirant for Southern Kaduna Senatorial District under the platform of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), in the 2023 general election, Mrs Tinok Andrew Nok, has described as fascinating and examplary the recent appointment of former Finance Minister, Sen Nenadi Usman by the Labour Party (LP) as it’s acting national Chairman.

This is as Mrs Nok also described the feat attained as a genuine demonstration by the LP on healthy internal party democracy and respect for the female gender.

In a statement made available to Journalists in Kaduna on Friday, Nok enjoined other political parties in the country to emulate the examplary democratic qualities of the Labour Party which projects national cohesion and respect for all irrespective of ethnic, religious and political background as well as gender.

The statement also expressed confidence in the ability and capacity of Senator Usman to carry all Labour Party members and supporters towards political victory in the coming elections in view of her political credentials and sagacity.

It stated that Senator Usman is known to be a record breaker as the first female senator in Southern Kaduna and now the first female ever to hold this position at the national level.

The statement further implored all LP stakeholders and followers to support and rally round the new party acting national Chairman for socioeconomic and political prosperity, pointing out that the former finance minister is a tested and trusted democrat of repute capable of taking the party to the next level of greatness.

Mrs Nok, however, pray for God’s guidance and wisdom for the new Labour Party acting national Chairman to enable her to succeed in her new assignment.
