Clement Iorver Iornongu, the Executive Director of International Centre for Peace Charities and Human Development (INTERCEP) said, “We’ve localized the 10 Articles and 38 Clauses of DPCW in our communities through the 2024 HWPL LP Facilitator Training. As we implement and develop these peace initiatives, we will be contributing to the adoption of DPCW in the United Nations and spread the culture of peace.”
Margaret Chichi Nkire, the Founder of Leadership Empowerment and Development Innovation Initiative Africa (LEADIN AFRICA) said, “LP Facilitator Training has greatly enhanced my understanding of the importance of legislating peace through the DPCW, which is crucial for achieving sustainable development of peace. Promoting the DPCW globally will contribute to the establishment of intensive international law.”
An HWPL official mentioned that the awareness of peace will be heightened through cooperation with both governments and non-governmental organizations, aiming to expand sustainable peace initiatives in every local community.
