IMT’s Deputy Rector lauds Nigeria’s past leaders for establishment of NIPSS

JOS,  North-Central, Nigeria – The Deputy Rector, Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, Dr Emeka Ejim, has commended the country’s past leaders for the establishment of the Nigerian Institute and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru.
He extolled the thoughtful foresight of the past leaders and their spirit of ex-raying Nigerian problem from the context of leadership over four decades ago, saying it is well commendable.
Dr. Ejim also lauded the Management of NIPSS for sourcing great Nigerian scholars in policy, strategy and leadership formulation, implementation and monitoring, and evaluation; saying the gained knowledge would never be a waste as he deploys it to the development of IMT.
The IMT’s Deputy Rector, who is among the Course 49 participants of the Policy Strategic and Leadership course (PSLC) at NIPSS said the quantum of knowledge sharing through well-organized lecture periods by the faculty is knowledge-based.
“As the Deputy Rector, I will make sure I domesticate the policy, strategy, and leadership knowledge in IMT Enugu my immediate constituency. The lecture rooms., the Management Circle, the State., Nigeria and the world as a whole,” Dr Ejim vowed.
He added: “The worthy positive changes inculcated in me by NIPSS, through the policies, Strategic, and Leadership modules will affect my immediate environment, family, and the functionality of IMT.”
While he counted it a blessing to be among the participants of the NIPSS’ PSLC course 49, Dr. Ejim said he is strategically equipped, improved, and is now good to go for policy formulation, analysis, and policy management.
“My leadership quotient has positively increased and improved with the robust class works, and group thinking,” he said.
Sr. Ejim commended the Enugu State Governor, Barrister Peter Mba, for his support in ensuring that the young emerging leaders are strategically positioned to effect change wherever they find themselves.
“Gov Mba is no doubt taking the state to another layer of development for the benefit of humanity, especially the people of Enugu State,” Ejim maintained.
He also thanked the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof Onyia, for his constant support to Governor Mba to make Enugu State the dream of its sons and daughters.
Dr Ejim equally appreciated the IMT’s Chairman, Prof Ed Nwobodo, and the Rector, Prof A.U. Nweze, for their approval for him to attend the course.
