KADUNA, North-West, Nigeria – The Womenhood College of Health Sciences and Technology Kaduna has matriculated 150 students for the 2023/2024 academic year into the six Departments of the Institution.
Addressing the matriculants at the ceremony on Friday, February 2, Registrar of the College, Hajiya Fatima Abdulmumin, advised them to take their studies very serious and also know that there is a wide gap between matriculation and graduation.
She therefore urged them to read and work hard to avoid carry, and spilled overs in order to become a better version of themselves tomorrow.  “As we all know, we are not here to train you on academics only, but also to teach you morals and how to render services to humanity just as the College usually do,” she said.
Giving a breakdown of the matriculants, the Registrar said they are as follows: Community Health Extension Worker, (CHEW) 50; Dental Surgery Technician, (DST) 30;  Health Information Management, (HIM) 20; X-ray Department, 20; 10 Environmental Health, (EVT) 10; and 20 Trained Birth Attendance, (TBA).
