MAIDUGURI, North-East, Nigeria – Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, on Wednesday unveiled a 50-bed capacity Primary Healthcare Centre in Wamdio in Askira-Uba Local Government Area of the state to increase access to public medical services by citizens.
Other projects commissioned include; a Comprehensive Junior Secondary School in Yamirali and Government Secondary School, Rumirgo in the Council.
While laying foundation for the construction of 300 housing units in Rumirgo, Governor Zulum, gave the engineers handling the project a completion deadline of six months without compromising engineering standards.
The people of Askira-Uba thanked the governor for the provision of health facilities and schools in their communities; and presented him with a traditional gift.
Personalities on tour with the governor include: Senator representing Borno South, Mohammed Ndume; state party Chairman Ali Bukar Dalori; members of State and National Assembly; commissioners, and other top government officials.
