KADUNA, North-West, Nigeria – A group under the auspice of Tsaunin Kura GRA Residents Association (Sabo GRA) has congrautlated its President, Dr. Silas Adamu over his emergence as President of Atyap Community Development Association, (ACDA).
A statement signed by the group’s Executive Public Relations Officer (EPRO), Okpani Jacob Dickson, made available to the media on Saturday, January 9, 2021, described Dr Adamu’s emergence as well deserved.
The statement congratulated others elected as executives of ACDA, and urged them to rally round their President to ensure success.
“We are excited over the emergence of our able President, Comrade Dr. Silas Adamu as the new ACDA President.
“We are however, not surprised by the development, in view of his track records in public and community service.
“ACDA with Dr. Adamu as it’s leader, is set to make genuine progress that will impact on all Atyap at home and abroad.
“In less than a year of his leadership of our community, he has put Sabo GRA on the world map. Our community is now united, peaceful and is on the path to witness massive Infrastructural development.
“We are optimistic same will be replicated in Atyap land which is yearning for greater peace and development,” the statement read.
Those elected alongside Dr. Adamu include; Vice President 1, Engr Nuhu Yashim; Vice President 2, Mr Andrew Iliya Waneh; Secretary General, Qs Haruna Musa; Assistant Secretary, Felix Sokfa; and Treasurer, Anna Sarki; and Financial Secretary, Sam Achi.
Others are: Assistant Financial Secretary, Luka Dara; PRO, Pius Marcus; Assistant PRO, Mercy Swanta Ango; Organising Secretary, Emma Kanai; Assistant Organising Secretary, Michael Dogo; Social And Cultural Secretary; Shehu Makarau; and his Assistant, Bitrus Damina.
It would be recalled that the ACDA election was held on Monday, December 28, 2020.
