Kaduna NLC, CSOs, NGOs, Civil Servants, All Stakeholders To Participate In The Protes
KADUNA, North-West, Nigeria – The Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC) Kaduna State Council has insisted on going ahead with its earlier planned strike and protest, with effect from September 28, 2020, following the failure of the Federal Government to reverse the hike in electricity tariff and fuel pump price.
A statement made available to Daily News Precise in Kaduna on Saturday, stated that; “In respect of the directives of the national body of the Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC), Kaduna State Council calls on all affiliates unions to mobilize their members for a peaceful protest scheduled for Monday, September 28, 2020 from Ranchers Bees Stadium to Lugard Hall by 7:00am prompt.
“All Civil Servants, Civil Society Organizations, Non Governmental Organizations and all stakeholders on labour matters are expected to participate in the peaceful protest against hike in electricity and fuel pump price which has added to the sufferings and hardships of Nigerians.
“Enough is Enough, we say no to electricity and fuel pump price hike.
“The Struggle Continues Until Victory Is Ascertained.”
