Again, Zulum visits Damasak over Displaced Families

MAIDUGURI, North-West, Nigeria – Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, again on September 11, 2020 was on humanitarian visit to Damasak, in Mobar Local Government Area where he interacted with some refugees who returned to the State.
Earlier, the Governor had visited Diffa Province in Niger Republic, where he met refugees who fled their homes due to insurgents’ attack to arranged modalities to fast-track their safe and dignified return for resettlement in Borno.

He expressed appreciation to the Nigerien authorities and host communities for their hospitality to Borno citizens taking refuge in their country.
Meanwhile in Damasak, Zulum inspected the newly constructed temporary shelters built to accommodate over 1000 households.
He also paid a moral boosting visit to the 29 Task Force Brigades, and assured the Nigerian military of his administration’s commitment to restoring peace in the state.
