Group Says Prayer is Antidote To Covid-19

KADUNA, North-West, Nigeria – A Group under the auspice of The Eye Opener Youth/Women Foundation, (TEO), has said prayers is the only remedy that will bring relief to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The President/Founder of Group Mrs Margaret Julius, made the assertion in a statement made available to the media in Kaduna on Thursday.

She urged Nigerians to obey instructions as given by concerned authorities on personal hygiene, as well as Government in order to protect citizens from the pandemic as; “There is no problem without solution.”

The statement explained that though Nigerians know the truth about relying on God and worshiping Him with a clean heart, somehow they got carried away with wealth and vein glory of the world.

“As we pray and fast to the Almighty God, let us also reach out to our neighbours who are in wants of what to eat, let us share the little we have with the needy around us with a clean heart and motives.

“As the perfect mechanic for a Peugeot vehicle is a Peugeot manufacturer, so also the perfect solution to man’s problems lies in his Maker, God.

“I want to call on all Nigerians to use this opportunity of forced break to go back to their, Creator, let us fast and pray for forgiveness of not giving HIM our attention.

“Remember, China has it all but couldn’t get the solution from technology; this is beyond technology, they (China) and the whole world need the intervention of the Creator Of the world.

“As we obey the laws and order from the government concerning this pandemic, let us turn this forceful holidays into a season where we cry to God our Maker,” the statement reads.
