44 Army Reference Hospital Kaduna Pledges More Support For NYSC

KADUNA, North-West, Nigeria – The Acting Chief Medical Director, (CMD)  of 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital (NARH), Kaduna, Colonel PO Aburime, has promised more robust working relationship with National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) in Kaduna.

Aburime made the promise when she received NYSC Kaduna  State Coordinator, Mal. Isa Wana, on a working visit to her office in Kaduna on Tuesday.

The CMD announced that medical billS from Corps members on admission will henceforth be subsidised as a concrete demostration of support from the Reference hospital to the NYSC scheme.

She promised to do more to assist the  scheme and made available referral phone numbers that could be used to make calls ahead of time of visit to the hospital with patients.

Earlier in his remarks, NYSC State Coordinator, Mal. Wana thanked Col Aburime for the warm reception accorded him and his team at 44 NARH, despite the short notice given before the visit.

He further appreciated the supports received over the years from the  foremost military reference hospital and asked for more assistance whenever Corps members were brought to the hospital for treatment.

The Coordinator was accompanied on the visit to 44 NARH, by one of the Medical Consultants attached to the NYSC camp clinic from Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Dr. Benjamin Ibrahim and some management staff of the scheme.
