KADUNA, North-West, Nigeria – The National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) has charged the 2019 Batch “C” (stream one) corps members to do more outside the camp in order to become experts in their chosen skill areas.
Coordinator, NYSC Kaduna State, Mallam Isa Wana, gave the charge on Friday, as the Scheme’s Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development, (SAED) in-camp training for corps members came to a successful end.
The event also include the inter-platoon competition and product exhibition in different skill areas by the corps members.
Declaring the ten-day empowerment programme closed, Mallam Wana, admonished corps members to accord priority attention to the SAED training programme in the course of the service year.
He noted that the training given the corps members at the orientation camp was to stimulate their interests in skill acquisition.
Prizes were presented to corps members who emerged winners in the inter-platoon competitions among trainees in different skill
