Governor Zulum Donates N50m To GSM Market, Announces Relocation Plan

BORNO, North-East, Nigeria – Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, has donated N50 million to the Maiduguri GSM market recently gutted by fire, and plans for it immediate relocation.
He made the announcement when he visited the market on Sunday evening after his return from Saudi Arabia.
Zulum who sympathized with the victims, prayed Allah to avert future occurrence.
Gov Zulum acknowledges cheers from the massive crowd of marketers.

“May Almighty Allah in his infinite mercy averts future occurrence; I wish to express my appreciation to the Fire Service, the Nigerian Police and all other paramilitary that have worked tirelessly to curtail the fire outbreak. I am hereby announcing the sum of N50 milliin support to the victims.”

.While addressing the massive crowd of marketers who gathered to received him, after going round the market to see the damages, the Governor announced his administration’s plans to relocate the GSM market to its permanent site.
“But most importantly we have to understand that this place is too congested. Government would immediately look into the possibility of relocating you to the permanent site,” he assured the crowd.

The Governor also paid a condolence visit to the Member representing Jere Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, over the demise of his maternal Aunt, Hajjiya Gambo.
