NGO Task Nigerians On Collective Fight Against Drug Abuse

KADUNA, North-West, Nigeria – Founder of Niggas Rehabilitation and Skills Acquisition Training Centre, Kaduna, Sheikh Lawal Maduru has called on the government, youth, parents and indeed all well meaning Nigerians to join in the fight against drug abuse among youth in the country.

He made the call during a novelty match/award presentation organized in his honour by the Kaduna United Football Club on Wednesday at the Ranchers Bees Stadium, Kaduna.

According to him, the event was in furtherance of the campaign against drug abuse among the youth, while the award is in recognition of his strides to the menace of drug abuse among youth particularly in Kaduna and neighbouring states which he undertake by sponsoring football and other sporting activities among responsible youth to chide the drug addicts to desist.

“As you can see, these are responsible youth that are engaged in gainful self-employment and non drug addicts.”

The Niggas Rehab boss disclosed that the Centre has been able to rehabilitate over 2,000 youth from all over Nigeria and beyond since inception in 2016.
