We Are With You In Your Sufferings – Fani Kayode Tells Southern Kaduna

KADUNA, North-West, Nigeria – Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode has revealed that the South are strongly with Southern Kaduna, (SK), in their moment of grieves.

He stated this at a program organized by One Voice Foundation in collaboration with Arewa Music House tagged: “One Million Peace walk Southern Kaduna Musical Concert and Award” held in Kafanchan, Jama’a Local Government Area of the state at the weekend.

The former Minister observed that SK people have suffered enough, but they should understand that they are not alone in their struggle, owing to the fact that he is with them and will continue to identify with them.

“The Southern Kaduna people have continuously contributed their quota to the development of the country and deserved to be given fair treatment as Nigerians.”

He condemned in strong terms the pattern of one sided appointments policy adopted by the present administration which according to him favors Muslims over Christians, a situations he said is not suitable for a country like Nigeria that is multi cultural and religious.

He further advised the people to wake up and vote credible leaders who has policies that are peaceful and people oriented, noting that good governance is, leading the people with equity and justice, in addition to protecting and defending them anytime the need arose, but any government that did not do that to all its citizens, should be changed.

On the issue of the removal of the Chief Justice Of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnogen, Femi described it as an embarrassment to democracy, and barbaric treatment to an important personality at the wrong time.

FFK as he is popularly called commended organizers of the program which he said will go a long way in sensitizing the people on contemporary issues, and equally encouraged the people to sustain the tempo, and promised his unflinching support anytime the need arise.

Guest speaker of the occasion, Pastor Anointed Paulhils said,” There is no justification of the present Governor picking a Muslim from Southern Kaduna as his running mate.

According to him,” Same event took place in Niger state and the Christians communities are suffering subjugation, intimidation and Churches cannot be built.

” We must resist evil through our unity as people. The Government have meted all kinds of injustices to the people of Southern Kaduna,” Anointed said.

He urged the people of Southern Kaduna come 2019 general elections you must vote for credible leaders that will protect your interest and save your land.

Senator Danjuma Laah, Member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, Hon. Shehu Nicholas Garba amongst several others were in attendant.
