PDP Grounds Kaduna As Isa Ashiru Flags Off Campaign

KADUNA, North-West, Nigeria – The Kaduna State Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Governorship Candidate, Honourable Isah Ashiru, has promised that his administration would cushioned the economic hardship of the people if elected as Governor of the state in the forthcoming election.
Speaking at his flag-off campaign at the Trade Fair Complex, Kaduna on Tuesday, Hon Ashiru, a one time House of Representatives member noted that the hardship bedevilling the people of the State would be a thing of the past in his administration.
He told the mammoth crowd that he would execute people-oriented projects and policies that would make the life of people better than what it is at the moment.
The Guber candidate urged electorate to ensure that nobody deceived them into selling their voter cards, saying doing so, equals to selling their rights to purposeful leadership.
In his remark, one of the Presidential campaign spokespersons, Engineer Buba Galadima, said the APC government made fake promises of changing the well fair of Nigerians but failed to deliver.

Galadima who challenged Nigerians not to be intimidated but stand by credible candidates who could lead them into the path of prosperity, also called on the electorate to vote massively for PDP candidates for a better living condition.
Also, two former Governors of the State, Senator Ahmed Makarfi and Alhaji Ramalan Yero, enjoined the people to be resolute in their support and loyalty to PDP, adding that the party was waiting for victory at the polls, provided it is conducted in peaceful, fair and free atmosphere.
Yero, enumerated some of the legacies of the PDP administrations in the state to include the Millennium City, Trade Fair Complex, Kaduna State University, the Overhead bridge, Kawo amongst others.
He dismissed insinuations of over bloated contract as well as corrupt practices associated with the PDP by the opposition party and expressed optimism that the party would be victorious in the upcoming elections.
Similarly, Senator Abdul Ningi, said going by the large turnout of crowd at the event, the party had chances of victory.
Highlight of the event includes presentation of flags to the three Senatorial candidates, as well as other candidates contesting for elective positions in the state.
