Nigerian Youth Task To Remain Focus And Determine

KADUNA, North-West, Nigeria – An entrepreneur and Chairman, Paul Pillars Aluminium Steel Limited, Mr. Paul Inaede, has tasked youth in the country to be hardworking, remained focus and determined, saying these are keys to success in life.

He stated this during an interview with newsmen in his factory at Anguwar Kadara, Kakau along Kaduna – Abuja Expressway, on Tuesday.

Inaede said that youth must not always think that government would provide every thing for them, rather they should remain focus and work harder to achieve their set goals in life.

According to him, Paul Pillars Aluminium Steel Ltd commenced operation in 2010, and has since carried out quite a number of projects across the country, chief among such projects is the ongoing fabrication and installation of doors and windors at the General Hospital in Nasarawa Toto, Nasarawa State, North-Central, Nigeria.

He explained that the company presently has forty staff strength sourced from the catchment area who are at various project sites in Nigeria, adding that the company has also trained over eleven youth on the trade.

The Paul Pillars Aluminium boss said although he is not from a wealthy background, but whatsoever he ever acquired in life were gotten through dint of hard work and God’s blessings upon his life.

“My forage into aluminum and steel business started in 2002, under the tutelage of a company who trained me for four years, and I graduated in 2006. The company retained my services where I put in four years.

“However, during the four years service to the company, and as a very ambitious persion, I discovered that my goal has not been realized. I also discovered that apart from the skills I was taught, there were some discoveries in the field I needed to explore.

“So in 2010 I left the company to established myself since I had a vision to go places on the job. And before I knew it, I started getting apprentices,” he said.

On challenges on the job, the Paul Pillars Aluminium helmsman said a major challenge to the company has been power supply, and generally the high cost of raw materials for the business.

“All profiles the company uses are semifinished products. So ours is to cut and assemble them to produce frames, and most of the products are imported. Although some are in Nigeria but quite expensive,” he said.

Mr. Inaede called on the federal government to revived the manufacturing industry in the country so that young entrepreneurs like him could source raw materials directly within the country.
