2019: ‘I’ve what it takes to lobby a better deal for my people’ – Northern Youth Leader

KADUNA, North-West, Nigeria – A prominent Northern youth leader, Comrade Gambo Gujungu, on Saturday picked a nomination form to contest for the House of Representatives on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), saying he has what it takes to lobby for a better deal for his people.
He stated this while addressing newsmen in Kaduna after purchasing the form which was handed over to him by the party’s National Financial Secretary, Abdullahi Maibasira, at Wadata House, Abuja.
Gujungu who is the National President of Arewa Youth Forum, (AYF) and a renowned activist is seeking to represent the Taura/ Ringim Federal Constituency of Jigawa state.
He promised to deploy his wealth of experience in seeking for a better deal for his constituency.
“I want to represent my people in the House of Representatives because I have what it takes to lobby for a better deal for them.
“I have been working for the interest of the people of the North and Nigerian youth over the years. This is the time to combine what I have been doing with political position and take it to the next level.
“My exposure and my interest in human capacity development are key assets that I will deploy to improve the lots of the people of my constituency,” he said.
Gujungu is also an ALUMNI of the International Visitors Leadership Programme, (IVLP) of the United States of America Exchange programme where he represented Nigeria in 2013.
He has used his leadership qualities to speak for the good of the people especially the masses. As an advocate of good governance he has used his position to demand the good for the north and Nigerians as a whole.
